Santa Marta Douro Wine

This brief was a very exciting wine brand from the Douro region in Portugal that's famous for it's Port produce. Brand origins are rarely this rich, so it was fantastic fun bringing the ancient story into a modern design. I was very happy when my design was later picked out by the judges at the International Wine and Spirits Awards 2007. I owe a great deal to the years of teaching and inspiraton from Michael Rowe and Luke Sudlow who are without question two of the greatest alcohol designers in the world.
